About Us

Welcome to Närhälsan Svenljunga Health Center.

Here, 28 dedicated employees work in various professional categories such as doctors, district nurses, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. We currently have 7900 registered individuals of various ages with us, and together we work to best meet our patients' needs. We have a close collaboration with Rehab as they have their facilities in the same building. In addition to the usual health center services, we also have a same-day clinic where doctors and nurses work together, as well as nurse-led specialist clinics such as Asthma/COPD, diabetes, and menopause clinics.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range of responsibilities and cover the general medical field where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-oriented in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital health meetings, and at the clinic.

The work involves both acute and planned activities. You work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up on patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the business forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore mentoring students is also included as part of your role at the health center.

About You

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is advantageous if you have additional training in Diabetes and/or Asthma/COPD of at least 15 higher education credits.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitization and business development.

Travel in the service occurs, a B driver's license is required.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two stages. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
