Description

The BUP Neuropsychiatric Reception belongs to the Psychiatry Department at Kungälv Hospital and is located at Rollsbovägen 58 in Kungälv. There are good connections to Gothenburg.

The Child Psychiatry in Kungälv and Ale was divided in 2020 into a unit focused on patients with neuropsychiatric disabilities and a unit focused on patients with affective problems. The position we are now seeking a psychiatric nurse for will be placed in the neuropsychiatric unit.

At BUP, we work in teams and cater to children and adolescents up to 18 years old. The team consists of senior physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, secretaries, and unit managers. The operations are characterized by high competence and a high degree of collaboration, and are conducted from a cross-professional perspective.

Job Responsibilities

Qualified assessment, evaluation, and treatment work with children, adolescents, and their families. The work is conducted not only in teams but also independently. We often have contact with care neighbors, schools, and social services. There is an opportunity for remote work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a psychiatric nurse and want to continue developing our reception with a shared commitment and innovative thinking. It is advantageous if you have previously worked in child and adolescent psychiatry, but it is not a requirement. You have an open mind and a good ability to critically review your work, as well as a pronounced patient focus that is manifested in collaboration with the patient around diagnostics and treatment methods. Above all, you are a person who values the important work with children's and adolescents' mental health and wants to work for a prominent and accessible child and adolescent psychiatry.
