In the role of care assistant, you will work with care based on the needs and wishes of the elderly. You will be part of a team where you can help develop the operations, including through the implementation of dementia programs and active work with palliative care. Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant. If you have previous experience working in elderly care or home care, we consider that an advantage. Experience with quality registers BPSD and Senior Alert is also meritorious. Social documentation is an important part of the work, which means you need to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Your new workplace

Jonseredsgården is a municipal nursing home located in the picturesque Jonsered, close to public transport, green areas, and Partille center. The residence consists of about 50 apartments distributed across several smaller units with 6–8 residents in each, creating a homely and safe environment. Here, there are both somatic departments for the elderly with physical care needs and dementia departments with special care and security. Our facilities are bright and pleasant, with common areas for meals, activities, and social interaction.

With us, you will be scheduled to work three out of six weekends during a scheduling period. If you wish to work more weekends than three, you will receive an extra 1000 SEK gross for each additional shift worked. One shift corresponds to one occasion, and you can work a maximum of four extra occasions, as long as you are permanently employed.

Working hours vary between day and evening as well as weekends. Common working hours are 06:45-15:30, 07:00-16:30, 13:00-21:00, and 15:00-22:00. We apply a 37-hour workweek for our staff working day and evening shifts.

Good to know

Provided that you meet the essential requirements for the position, it is mandatory to undergo a digital language test to ensure competence at the B2 level according to the Council of Europe’s standards before the interview. Please note that the process will be interrupted if the language test is not passed. You will need to identify yourself with Bank-ID to take the language test.
