The Community Building Administration is responsible for the physical planning of the city and works broadly for a sustainable development of Mölndal City, urban areas, and countryside with good infrastructure. The administration's tasks include strategic community planning, comprehensive and detailed planning, plan implementation, as well as management and development of Mölndal City's own real estate portfolio, investment projects, land and exploitation, traffic development, and long-term planning of land and water use.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a KMA Coordinator, you will have a central role with responsibility for quality, environment, and working conditions in the city's large construction projects. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, contractors, and procurement officers, giving you the opportunity to contribute to the development of sustainable and well-planned construction investments.

As a KMA Coordinator, you will be part of the project unit belonging to the property department. The unit consists of 6 employees and is in the process of expanding with a few additional roles. The unit's main responsibility is large investment projects, and we are facing many exciting investments in the coming years. As a KMA Coordinator with us, you will work on the client side and be responsible for quality, environment, and working conditions in construction projects conducted by the property department.

Main job responsibilities:

• Visit our construction sites to ensure compliance with requirements against contracted contractors.
• Maintain close collaboration with procurement officers to ensure the right procurement requirements.
• Be responsible for the reuse process in our projects functioning and developing.
• Continuous contact with project managers, construction managers, and contracted contractors.
• Be responsible for the environmental database in each project. Currently, the Building Product Assessment (BVB) is used.
• Ensure compliance with governing documents such as framework programs, local programs, environmental plans, energy plans, etc., in all ongoing planning.
• Further develop governing and supporting documents such as environmental plans, various templates for construction processes, etc.
• Ensure that the operations comply with laws, regulations, routines, and political decisions.
• Develop and implement internal self-controls that you follow up in all ongoing projects regarding quality, environment, and working conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree or vocational training as a KMA Coordinator, or other post-secondary education that we assess as equivalent. You have documented experience of tasks within quality, environment, and working conditions in construction projects, as well as very good knowledge of industry work environment regulations, environmental requirements, and relevant regulations.

As a KMA Coordinator with us, you will be part of a dynamic municipal organization where many projects are ongoing simultaneously. The role involves many internal and external contacts, which requires you to be communicative, self-driven, and responsible. You are used to working based on processes and governing documents, have a structured and meticulous work method, and enjoy ensuring quality at all levels.

We also value your curiosity and drive to develop new ideas and solutions, as well as the ability to make decisions and present information clearly in front of groups.
