JOB DESCRIPTION

As a warehouse administrator, you will play an important support role for the rest of the prison. You will work with a variety of tasks, including both administrative and physical work. Your tasks will include unpacking, inspecting, and registering clients' belongings upon arrival, leave, and transfer, as well as printing, packing, and distributing or sending clients' belongings when they conclude their stay with us. You will also manage laundry exchanges, ordering consumables, office supplies, clothing, and more. Some client contact may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a warehouse administrator, it is important that you take responsibility for your tasks, are meticulous, and have the ability to plan, structure, and prioritize your work independently. You remain calm, stable, and controlled in stressful situations and are attentive and accommodating in your interactions. You work well with others, communicate clearly, and relate to others smoothly. In your role, you contribute to the whole and take responsibility for providing solutions and developing the operations together with us. It is important to us that you share the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's fundamental values of a humane view of people, respect for the individual, and belief in the human will and ability to develop. You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to ensuring that everyone is treated equally through your approach. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Before the summer vacation substitute position, there is an opportunity to have a temporary position before the summer.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Ability to express themselves well in spoken and written Swedish
• Good computer skills

Meritorious:

• Work experience from warehouse/storage work, preferably from the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
• Knowledge of and experience in handling invoices and orders, preferably in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's financial systems Proceedo and KVR
• Experience in decision-making in public administration
• Experience working at a detention center or prison within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
