The Municipal Executive Office leads and coordinates the municipality's strategic planning and development. We support the administrations with advice and specialist services. We are responsible for municipality-wide services and projects and oversee and control the activities of the committees. The Security Unit is a specialized unit consisting of an information security coordinator, a civil defense officer, an emergency preparedness coordinator, and a security manager. We are now looking for a new colleague to serve as a security officer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of security officer, you will provide advice and support on various types of security issues to all municipal operations. You are responsible for developing governing documents, revising existing guidelines/procedures, and training managers and employees in various parts of the security area.

The areas of work that primarily occur in the position are physical security, fire protection, personal safety, welfare crime, and crime prevention issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant post-secondary education in the field, focusing on security and safety creation, or work experience deemed equivalent. You have good knowledge of municipal operations and an understanding of how a politically governed organization works.

A driving license (B) is a requirement for the position. Previous work experience in security and safety creation is an advantage.

You have a very good ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. We are looking for someone who is proactive and driven to turn ideas into action and results. You work in a structured manner by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively while adhering to set deadlines.

You have excellent collaboration skills and enjoy working with others, where you communicate attentively, build good relationships, and contribute to common solutions. At the same time, you have good judgment and the ability to make well-founded assessments, even in complex situations where multiple perspectives and interests need to be considered.
