About the Role

We are looking for someone who thrives in a role where technology meets people. As an operator, you will act as the spider in the web for our customers' security solutions. You will receive incoming alarms and calls and ensure that the right action is taken without delay. You will make quick decisions based on pre-established guidelines agreed upon with the customer. Above all, you will provide significant support to our guards as you assist them in carrying out these tasks at the customer site, which can sometimes be risky.

The position also includes traditional guard duties at our stationary customer, where you will become an important part of the operation through engaged patrolling and service-oriented reception work.

You will, for example:

  • Receive incoming alarms and calls
  • Manage contact with guards when they are out on assignments.
  • Staff the customer's reception
  • Perform patrols and security work

Requirements

  • You have a high school education with passing grades in Swedish and English. Since you will use the computer as your primary tool, we also prefer that you have good computer skills.
  • Driver's license B

Preferred if you

  • have worked with similar tasks before
  • have worked in the service industry

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, able to handle periods of high work pace. We also hope that you have a strong interest in technology and find it easy to understand instructions.

Since you will have significant responsibility in your role while working very closely with both customers and colleagues, we believe you can work both independently and in a team. Taking responsibility comes naturally to you – you are simply an honest, helpful, and vigilant person who makes those around you feel safe.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have passing grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved under the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities.
