Are you a student or looking for a summer job? We are now seeking summer staff who want to work in one of Sector Alarm's most important departments – our alarm center, which operates around the clock, year-round. The position is for the period from June to August with preliminary training starting in week 19. We currently have full-time positions to fill, so check out the description below and submit your application!

What does your new role as an Alarm Operator look like?

The alarm center is the heart of the office, where we can assist our customers who are in immediate danger. We take pride in providing our customers with first-class service, innovative products, and advice for a safer everyday life. In the role of alarm operator, you will handle calls related to alarms – such as fire, burglary, or operational disturbances. You will be responsible for taking the appropriate action for each incident, acting as customer support, educating our customers on our alarm systems, and following up on critical incidents.

Just as you will handle calls regarding a developed fire, you will also receive calls about burnt food that has triggered the fire alarm or a ventilation window that opens during the night when the perimeter security is on. Therefore, it is important that you are comfortable with changes in pace and help all our customers with the utmost care, regardless of the incident.

Working with us is both fun and rewarding as you get to influence the work environment. We believe that the right conditions are a key factor in performing at your best. In the alarm center, it is crucial to do things right, and our routines for how we act should be second nature; you will therefore receive thorough training when you start with us.

Who are we looking for?

We see that you have good experience in service roles where you are used to handling customers and solving problems. You are comfortable using a computer and phone as your primary tools. We believe in our employees' potential to develop, and therefore your values and personal qualities are just as important as your formal qualifications. In addition, we require that you are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A background check will be conducted during the phone screening to ensure satisfactory extracts from the Police's criminal record and also a thorough check in accordance with the Security Protection Act (1996:627).

We are looking for someone who is simply Reliable, you are, in short, a colleague to trust! Efficient, while performing your work with great accuracy, and Secure, as you have the ability to remain calm despite juggling many tasks at once.

Making a difference at Sector Alarm – for both our customers and your development

Sector Alarm is a safe and secure workplace where we take pride in working closely with our employees. When you work for us, we promise to work for you. We will create conditions for you to learn new things and develop what you are already good at. You will face challenges that test your limits and help you grow. We have been named Career Company of the Year for the 11th year in a row, giving you great opportunities to take further steps in your career.

We strive for an inclusive work culture and take care of and support each other. We are open, honest, and celebrate successes together – big and small. We succeed together.

What we do is real – we create safer homes and more secure lives across Europe.

Do you want to seize the opportunity to develop and create safer lives? Submit your application today!

We are continuously contacting candidates, so send in your application today. In your application, we would like you to attach your CV, answer the selection questions, and write a motivation for why you are interested in the position and working with us. We do not accept applications via email (sorry if that sounds boring, but it has to do with GDPR and other practical matters).

The position is a fixed-term full-time employment with a chance for further employment after the summer, located at our headquarters in Citygate, Gothenburg.

In this recruitment process, we will use tests. For this test, you need to be available and able to come to our headquarters. If you have questions about the position, you are warmly welcome to contact the responsible recruiter Ottilia Porselid at 0733759407 or [email protected].
