Security Specialist with a Focus on Personal Safety

ICA Risk & Security is looking for a Security Specialist with a focus on personal safety. In this role, you will primarily support ICA retailers and their stores with questions related to personal safety – both on-site in stores and remotely. You will be their natural point of contact and work in an advisory, educational, and supportive manner regarding personal safety issues.

About the Job as a Security Specialist with a Focus on Personal Safety

ICA Risk and Security works to create safety and security for stores, customers, employees, and retailers. Since all ICA stores are operated by independent retailers, our work is to support the retailer and the store in all types of security-related questions. The focus area for your position will be personal safety.

You will be responsible for a geographical area, where you will have contact with and develop the stores you work with. Your tasks will include personal safety conversations, training, threat assessments, and advisory services. You will prepare reports and materials for recommendations regarding personal safety measures. You will participate in and lead the work during incident management.

Travel across the country will be required for this position, and your base location will be in Gothenburg.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in personal safety work and who is accustomed to supporting businesses in these matters. You have a relevant university degree or equivalent experience, and you thrive in roles where you independently drive your work and make your own decisions.

You have experience in developing methods and instructions for personal safety, training, and guiding in the field, as well as working with gathering and analysis from open sources. You express yourself well in both speech and writing and are used to working closely with the business.

The role requires you to handle both proactive development work and situations with short notice. Experience in physical security and technical security solutions such as alarms and cameras is a plus.

You are an outgoing, driven, and attentive person who easily builds trust and appreciates daily interactions with both retailers and employees.

Why Choose ICA

ICA is one of the leading retail players in the Nordic region with strong values and a clear focus on safety, security, and sustainability. Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute in an area that makes a real difference – both for our retailers, employees, and ICA as a whole.
