About the Role

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas, but work under the police authority's regulations. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives. You do this by being present in public places, which hopefully has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act.

Securitas has varied assignments that create a significant impact on other people's lives, and here you have the opportunity to make a real difference!

The position is suitable for you who enjoy working with people and want to make a socially important contribution. The current assignment is with a stationary customer, which means that you will both start and end your shifts on-site at the location.

Requirements

We are looking for a calm and stable person who can maintain composure even when a lot is happening around you. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility in your role and can remain objective when required. In addition to the basic requirements below, great importance will also be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard training and a valid security guard permit
• You must have worked as a security guard for at least two years
• Experience working in public environments or similar assignments
• You must be trained as a guard (VU1 + VU2)
• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school

Meritorious

• B driver's license

• The position is a full-time employment with a start date no later than 23/3. The assignment starts on 1/4. We apply a 6-month probationary period
• We conduct selection tests
• We primarily communicate via email
• We are looking for staff for both daytime and nighttime shifts

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
