About the role
As a Safety Coordinator, you will play an important role in developing safety and preparedness work within RISE, with a particular focus on physical security. In the coming years, our facilities will undergo extensive development, and through your work, you will contribute to strengthening safety and security throughout the organization.
You will drive and coordinate work within physical security in close collaboration with experienced colleagues in the department as well as with Property and Service. The position is based in Gothenburg or Borås, and we have a hybrid working model where many employees share their working time between the office and their home workspace. The position involves travel, primarily within Sweden.
In the role, you will among other things:
Participate in analyses of security solutions related to, for example, perimeter protection, area protection, access control, locks and alarms, and security rooms.
Develop documentation and action proposals to enhance and adapt physical protection based on governing documents, the needs of the operations, and the current threat landscape.
Support in prioritizing security-enhancing measures.
Conduct site visits, status assessments, and inspections of physical security solutions.
Provide support during requirement specifications in connection with procurement and during renovations, expansions, and new constructions.
Contribute to the development of governing documents, protection concepts, and working methods within physical security.
Participate in training, workshops, and development initiatives in the area.
Collaborate with colleagues to further develop methods and working practices within physical security.
The role may also involve other tasks related to security protection and civil preparedness. As part of the department, you are also expected to actively contribute to developing RISE's work in security and preparedness issues and to strengthen the security culture and the department's ongoing development journey.

You are communicative and confident in expressing yourself, both in dialogue with colleagues and when presenting to groups. With a good pedagogical ability, you explain complex issues clearly and convincingly.
Requirements
Experience working with physical security.
Experience conducting risk and security analyses.
Experience in developing technical requirements, documentation, or investigations related to security solutions.
You are confident in presenting, leading workshops, and giving lectures, and have a well-developed pedagogical ability.
Ability to independently drive and take responsibility for work within defined areas of responsibility.
Relevant post-secondary education in areas such as security and protection of operations, civil protection and preparedness, risk management, or security technology.
Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Meritorious
Experience in technical supply preparedness.
Experience working with security protection.
Experience in project and process management.
