JOB DESCRIPTION

The tasks of the security coordinator vary. The work is conducted at both strategic and operational levels. The foundation of our work is risk and vulnerability analyses to enable us to work with crisis preparedness and continuity planning.

We work to identify, analyze, and prevent risks. In addition, we plan for how operations can be maintained during disruptions and crises. The tasks also include work within the area of security protection as well as exercises and training for our operations.

You will be part of a team with experts in areas such as data protection, information security, cybersecurity, and IT security. The proximity to colleagues in both core operations and IT provides excellent opportunities to influence the development towards a safer and more resilient society. We often roll up our sleeves together to tackle questions with unknown solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a team player who can also stand on your own. When you encounter something new, your instinct is to be solution-oriented and curious. For us, your personality is as important as your professional background.

You have a professional integrity that you connect to the desire to involve the operations even when it is complex. You utilize your pedagogical talents to celebrate successes together with colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • We see that you have education in areas such as risk and vulnerability analysis, crisis management, and civil defense. This can involve higher education as well as vocational training or military education.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is essential for doing a good job. We create routines, guidelines, and conduct analyses as important parts of our work.

Meritorious:

  • Education and experience in security protection and signal protection are considered meritorious.
  • Training from the Civil Defense Authority is also meritorious. If you have municipal experience, we will be especially pleased.
  • As a cherry on top, we see both education and experience as exercise leaders and instructors related to crisis management and civil defense. You will be part of a team that often faces the task of informing and training colleagues.

Knowledge:

You should have good knowledge of the Act on Extraordinary Events, the Security Protection Act, and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act. If you also have knowledge of information security and total defense, that would be excellent.

Please note that the position can only be filled after a completed security protection review.
