Staffing Unit

The Staffing Unit is responsible for managing short-term substitutes within the following operations in Uddevalla municipality:

Pool Attendant

As a short-term substitute, you will be called in when the operations need substitutes. The swimming facilities unit is looking for hourly substitutes who can support as needed at Rimnersbadet.

We want to contribute to increased swimming skills and water familiarity among our visitors by creating conditions for swimming and recreation through organized teaching and playful experiences. Rimnersbadet should inspire and contribute to wellness and exercise for the public and create conditions for training and competition activities for associations and their operations.

As pool staff at Rimnersbadet, you are expected to provide good service and a positive reception to all our visitors. You see solutions instead of obstacles and have a service mindset in all situations. You contribute calm in stressful situations, inspire enthusiasm, and work well with others.

Good computer skills are important as all our systems are computer-based, including the cash register system.

We would like you to have a personal interest in public health, exercise, and sports.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Pool Attendant with us, you will work with the overall operation of the facility, from the first reception behind the cash register to cleaning and monitoring all parts of the swimming hall. You are part of a team that jointly takes responsibility for daily guidance and operation of the swimming hall's café in connection with the reception of swimming and training visitors.

To thrive as a Pool Attendant, you should enjoy providing service, taking responsibility, and being flexible, helping our guests in the best way as your days consist of varied activities and tasks. As a pool attendant, it is important that you are social. You find it easy to talk to people and are not afraid to meet people in different situations. It is important that you can take your own initiatives and work solution-oriented. You enjoy working with a lot of freedom but at the same time feel a great responsibility for your tasks, especially to maintain a pleasant environment in a safe swimming facility.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a competent swimmer, swim 200 m including diving down to a depth of 3.8 m to retrieve a doll. Must be at least 18 years old. Documented work experience from a similar or equivalent service profession. Swimming test will be conducted during the interview.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities when filling the positions.

Conditions

The recruitment will be based on the needs of the operations for short-term substitutes. Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously.

We ask that you provide the names, phone numbers, and email addresses of two references. These should be individuals in a supervisory position. For those who cannot provide a managerial reference, we also accept references from internship placements or teachers.
