Apply for the position of Logistics Specialist and play a key role in the company's processes with a focus on customs. ABOUT THE POSITION:Customs is one of the most important parts of the logistics process. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth, accurate, and efficient movement of goods between Europe, China, and other global markets. You will support a rapidly growing supply chain by ensuring customs compliance, customs processes, inquiries, audits, and enabling timely deliveries while minimizing regulatory risks. The role involves close collaboration with finance, legal, and external logistics partners to ensure a correct import and export process from start to finish.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Ensure that documentation is accurate and complete (commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, certificates of origin, HS classifications).
- Classify vehicle components and finished products according to HS codes and determine duties, fees, and taxes.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update internal customs processes as needed.
- Conduct internal audits, identify risk areas, and suggest corrective actions.
- Be the primary contact person for customs-related questions for internal colleagues. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain or equivalent education.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in customs work, international logistics, import/export compliance, or freight forwarding.
- Have a strong ability to manage documentation and analyze data with high accuracy, even under time pressure.
- Possess strong communication skills when interacting with authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form as it is used in the role.
Meritorious:
- Experience from the automotive industry or a fast-growing organization.
- Knowledge of Chinese customs documentation and/or logistics flows between the EU and China.
- Experience with ERP systems, customs declaration systems, and logistics systems.
This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that after 12 months you will be directly employed by the client.
