JOB DESCRIPTION

A central part of the security function at the Remand Facility Gothenburg is the group of Security Officers, which consists of five security officers, including the advertised position. As a security officer at the remand facility in Gothenburg, you will be part of the security group. You will work for the whole but also directed towards a specific part of the core operations. Job tasks will involve being an operational support in the daily security work with a focus on routines and training activities. The work is also strategic, which means you will conduct risk analyses, compilations, draw conclusions, and propose relevant protective measures. You will also carry out other investigations and training as assigned.

Requirements

• Academic education with a focus on security or other education or experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant and equivalent.
• Experience in security work.
• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license (B).

Desirable

• Experience in a mentoring/teaching role.
• Completed basic training in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service.
• Experience in decision-making.
• Completed security-related training within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service.
• Good IT skills.
• Experience with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's client administrative systems and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Relevant language skills.
