RESPONSIBILITIES
The role involves financial administration or the management of inmate funds. "Inmate funds" is a collective term for everything concerning the money of incarcerated individuals. Your duties include accounting for compensation for work assignments to clients, managing the cash register and its inventory, reconciliations, closing accounts, posting invoices, archiving, and executing financial transactions in client cases in accordance with decisions. You will also be responsible for ordering and administering the inmate canteen, which may involve external contacts with a procured supplier in the field. You will further handle the ordering and reporting of phone cards to the Prison and Probation Service's INTIK system, as well as the administration of meal vouchers. Administration is primarily carried out in the financial system Unit4 ERP, the new client fund management system, and Proceedo, as well as other administrative data systems. The office is located within the prison, where you will meet colleagues and inmates. You are subject to the security work applicable to the workplace.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is independent, stress-tolerant, and service-oriented. The handling of cases is part of the legal process, which means you need to be meticulous and structured in your working methods. You must have good judgment, be quality-conscious, and able to make the right priorities, as well as be accustomed to occasionally working at a high pace. The work as an administrator for inmate funds is a service function and requires that you have a good ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with other employees at the prison, as well as other actors, both within and outside the authority.

We are looking for someone who has:
- A completed upper secondary education. Preferably in law/economics or other education that the employer deems relevant.
- The ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
- Good IT skills.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience of administrative work within the Prison and Probation Service.
- Experience with inmate funds.
- Experience working in Unit4 ERP and KVR.
- Experience of administrative tasks within public administration.
- Experience working in administrative data systems.
