Description

Here at Oasen, you will primarily work with swimming pool operations, swimming education for the municipality's school children, water aerobics, café and entrance operations, as well as ice maintenance since we have everything in the same building.

A very varied position where no day is like the other.

This is a unique opportunity to mix different tasks with a very varied assignment. You will also have the opportunity to learn new things in the technical area of facility operations. Employees in Kungälv Municipality receive a wellness grant of 1500 SEK/year.

In Kungälv, we are building for the future, and in the long run, we will have a new arena city in Rollsbo where a new ice, swimming, and sports hall will be located.

Tasks

  • Pool Attendant - Monitor pool operations and ensure visitor comfort and safety.
  • Swimming Instructor - We conduct swimming lessons for the municipality's schools.
  • Water Aerobics - We have five water aerobics classes a week where you will have a fixed class and may need to cover other classes.
  • Café and Entrance - Greet our visitors at the entrance and be one of those who ensures our visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee or something to eat.
  • Ice Maintenance - Be one of those who ensures that operations in our ice rink function as they should. We are Sweden's most booked ice rink, and we have a high demand for our ice.

Qualifications

  • Trained pool lifeguard according to SLS or equivalent with at least two years of experience.
  • Trained swimming instructor according to SLS or equivalent with at least two years of experience.
  • At least two years of experience in entrance and café operations.
  • Documented cash handling experience.
  • At least two years of experience in ice machine operation and ice maintenance.
  • It is an advantage if you have a BE driving license.
