About us

Närhälsan is tasked with operating health centers and rehabilitation clinics in the Västra Götaland region, competing with other providers.

We currently operate approximately 105 health centers and 60 rehabilitation clinics across all municipalities in the region.

We are looking for

We are now seeking a Security Coordinator who will be the team leader for the security function at Närhälsan. You will be a central resource in the work to develop and strengthen our security, representing Närhälsan in various regional groups regarding security and preparedness issues. The security function works broadly in the area – from personal safety and physical security to crisis management, preparedness, civil defense, and information security.

About the job

As a Security Coordinator, you will provide advice and support to Närhälsan's operations and management. The work includes handling security-related incidents. Training and information to the operations are important parts of the preventive work. Your responsibilities include monitoring the environment, risk management, analysis, planning, follow-up, and development of security work at Närhälsan. You will be responsible for developing guidelines/procedures within the security area, conducting investigations, proposing measures, and participating in Närhälsan's work with internal control.

The position also includes responsibility as team leader for the other three employees within the security function. You will work closely with other staff departments within Närhälsan and collaborate with other administrations in the Västra Götaland region as well as relevant authorities. You will represent Närhälsan in various meeting forums and become part of Närhälsan's TiB function (Emergency Officer).

About you

You have a relevant university degree or equivalent competence. You have several years of experience working in the security and preparedness field. You have previous leadership experience. Experience working in the public sector, especially in healthcare, is an advantage.

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and preferably experience in project management, case preparation, follow-up, or change management.

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and proactive, with high integrity and a systematic approach. You are flexible, unpretentious, and easily collaborate with various stakeholders. We also see that you embody Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

Other

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. The position may be classified in a security class. This means that a security clearance and background check may be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act prior to employment.
