Job Responsibilities
Glöstorps Röseväg is a residence with special services for individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities.
The operation includes eight individual apartments and a shared base apartment for social interaction. Residents receive individualized support in their daily lives, primarily in their own homes but also during medical visits and interactions with authorities. Challenging behaviors may occur.
As a support assistant, you will provide individually tailored support aimed at promoting a good and independent life. The work involves assistance with daily tasks, communication, and recreational activities, focusing on participation and influence based on each resident's abilities. You will collaborate with relatives, guardians, and other stakeholders, and be responsible for social documentation in Treserva and medication management according to delegation. The work is conducted according to implementation plans and involves motivating residents towards development and a meaningful daily life.
Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts. Some work may take place in other operations. The position largely involves working alone, and scheduling is done in Time Care Planning.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree from the Health and Care Program, support assistant training, or the Child and Leisure Program with a focus on social or educational work. The educational requirement is also met if you have a post-secondary specialization in the disability field that includes at least 200 YH points, 120 higher education credits, or a combination that corresponds to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for individuals with disabilities. The education should have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the testing user Educateit.
It is a requirement that you have at least two years of experience working with individuals with mental and neuropsychiatric disabilities. It is also a requirement that you have previously worked within BmSS. You also need to have prior experience with social documentation and knowledge of IBIC as well as experience working with psychiatric diagnoses.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of the following methods: LAB (Low Arousal Approach), ESL (An Independent Life), AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and MI (Motivational Interviewing).
For this role, it is important to have good computer skills and be comfortable working with various IT support systems. You should be able to independently document in, among other things, Treserva.
