Buskoviusskolan

is an F-5 school located in the heart of Särna.

We often utilize the proximity to both forest and lake. About 40 students attend Buskoviusskolan.

Job Responsibilities

Together with the teachers, you will support a student, both in classroom situations, during breaks, during transitions, and at lunch. Early mornings and late afternoon hours may occur.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a high school or adult education in the child and leisure program or the health and care program. Other education combined with experience deemed relevant by the employer may also be considered.

To thrive in the role of teaching assistant and as a team member, you need to have very good collaboration skills. You easily adapt to new conditions and contribute ideas and solutions in emerging situations, always considering the best for the entire organization. Buskoviusskolan collaborates with Strandskolan in Idre.

Working with students and helping them succeed requires the ability to build relationships, both with students, colleagues, and guardians. You need to be present in every moment with the students while also having expectations that they can succeed. We are looking for someone with documented knowledge and experience working with students with NPF issues. Knowledge of low-arousal approaches is an advantage. The job includes conducting certain planned activities together with an individual student or a smaller student group, so pedagogical insight is important.
