About us at Solsidan

At Solsidan Preschool, you will meet about 95 curious children and dedicated colleagues spread across six departments. We are a preschool with 6 departments where we work closely with the departments in each corridor, 3 in each. This creates a sense of “the small in the large”. The advantages of a smaller context benefit both children and educators. The departments in the corridors collaborate, which means that children also get to know educators from other departments, creating security. We also have the security of being several departments to help when needed.

Your role with us

As a preschool teacher, you are the engine in the children's everyday life. You plan, implement, and document (via the documentation tool Unikum) a teaching that is based on the children's own interests and needs. We are looking for someone who wants to combine safe care with inspiring pedagogy. Whether you have just graduated or have worked for many years, you contribute your unique skills to our team.

Ludvika Municipality invests in systematic quality work for preschools. Through pedagogical documentation, the preschool is monitored, evaluated, and developed. In this work, you will be an important player in the shared responsibility to plan, implement, document, and follow up on the activities based on applicable governing documents.

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher (or someone waiting for their license) who has good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You are also:

• A relationship builder: You meet children, guardians, and colleagues with warmth and professionalism.
• Someone who sees opportunities: You are creative, flexible, and enjoy developing both the learning environment and pedagogy.
• Confident in your professional role: You have a good understanding of the curriculum and translate governing documents into practical, fun education where play has a central role. You also have the ability to create calm and security in the children's group.

We consider it an advantage if you have knowledge in special education or communication and clarifying pedagogy.
