Vocational Teacher in Construction

Hedemora Adult Education offers education at the upper secondary level for Construction Machine Operators and Miners.

Currently, Hedemora Municipality provides education in both upper secondary and adult education, and a broad collaboration between the operations is a prerequisite for qualitative and economically sustainable education.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a vocational teacher in construction, you will:

• Conduct both theoretical and practical lessons in the construction field
• Plan and implement teaching according to current curricula, in close collaboration with teachers in mining education
• Teach the fundamentals of common construction tasks, such as:
• excavation and foundation work
• drainage
• machine knowledge
• Instruct in machine operation, primarily wheel loaders and excavators, but other machines may also be involved.
• Be responsible for contact and follow-up of students' APL periods in collaboration with our partner companies.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has extensive experience in construction work and machine operation
• Is confident in your professional skills and wants to share your knowledge
• Has a good ability to create structure, engagement, and clarity in teaching
• Has a driver's license

• Vocational certificate or other relevant certification
