In Ludvika, children and youth are important! We demonstrate this by making children and youth the center of our municipal organization. Most resources directed towards children and youth have been gathered under one committee. This includes preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, and also social services. A common feature of all activities is a conscious quality effort to constantly develop and improve the work with children and youth.

Workplace

Parkskolan is located in Grängesberg, 15 kilometers south of Ludvika. A beautiful old industrial town that flourished with iron ore mining until the late 1980s. Today, not everything remains, but Grängesberg continues to thrive, albeit to a lesser extent. Parkskolan, with its 270 students from preschool to grade 6 and an after-school program with 120 students, is adjacent to the historic Folkets Park where we now celebrate school graduations. Also nearby is the beverage giant Spendrups, where study visits can be arranged. In the community, there is a library that we visit with our students. We also have a ski slope and an artificial ice bandy field that we can use on outdoor days. The forest is right next to the school, where we often take our students for visits.

Blötbergets skola is a K-6 school located 10 kilometers outside Ludvika. A school with 140 students for the 25/26 academic year and approximately 60 students in the after-school program. We have a great sense of community at the school where we help each other across boundaries. We have a lovely school forest that we enjoy visiting. There is also a soccer field and an ice hockey rink next to the school that we can utilize.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in grades K-6 in accordance with the schools' governing documents, both individually and in teams.
• Actively participate in developing successful learning environments together with others at the schools.
• Utilize the schools' digital systems, such as documentation, absence management, and communication.
• Maintain close collaboration through dialogue and meetings with guardians.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with a focus on physical education.
• You have a positive view of people and the ability to create good relationships as well as the ability to prevent and resolve conflicts.
• You are meticulous, flexible, and responsive to students' needs and enjoy working with youth.
• You are a good leader in the classroom with clarity in communication, goals, and results.
• It is important that you are perceived by students as a stable person who is secure in yourself and can handle different students' personalities and expressions.
• You are interested in continuing to develop Parkskolan and Blötbergets skola to be a safe and positive place for everyone.
• Close collaboration with another physical education teacher at Parkskolan.
