In Ludvika, children and youth are important! We demonstrate this by making children and youth the center of the municipal organization. Most resources directed towards children and youth have been gathered under one committee. This includes preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, and also individual and family care. A common feature of all activities is a conscious quality effort to constantly develop and improve work with children and youth.

The Workplace

Park School is located in Grängesberg, which is 15 kilometers south of Ludvika. A beautiful old industrial town that thrived with iron ore mining until the late 1980s. Today, not everything remains, but Grängesberg continues to flourish, albeit to a lesser extent. Park School, with its 270 students from preschool to grade 6 and an after-school program with 130 students, is adjacent to the historic Folkets Park where we now celebrate school graduations. Also nearby is the beverage giant Spendrups, where study visits can be arranged. In the community, there is a library that we visit with our students. We also go to Vallen, which is an artificially frozen bandy rink, and skate with the students. The forest is right next to the school where many visits take place. So what are you waiting for? Job Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in grades 4-6 in accordance with national, municipal, and school governing documents individually and in teams.
• You actively participate in developing successful learning environments together with others at the school.
• Utilize the school's digital systems for documentation, absence management, and communication.
• Mentorship and collaboration with guardians.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with a teaching license in Social Studies and Swedish, preferably in additional subjects.
• You have a positive view of people and the ability to create good relationships as well as the ability to prevent and resolve conflicts.
• You are meticulous, flexible, and attentive to students' needs, and enjoy working with youth.
• It is important that you are perceived by students as a stable person who is secure in yourself and can handle different students' personalities and expressions.
• You are involved in continuing to develop Park School into a safe and positive place for everyone.
