Mathematics Teacher for Hälsinggårdsskolan's Flex Unit

Hälsinggårdsskolan is looking for a licensed and qualified mathematics teacher for the school's flex unit. Hälsinggårdsskolan is a K-9 school with approximately 800 students and around 100 staff members. The school is located in a quiet area close to nature, contributing to a pleasant school environment and good conditions for students' everyday lives. The operation is part of Hälsinggårdsskolan's school area together with Vikaskolan and Hälsingbergsskolan, which enables collaboration at the area level.

The flex unit is one of the school's important support structures and is aimed at students who need special support during certain lessons or on a more permanent basis. The operation is characterized by a high staff density, clear structure, and close collaboration between teachers, special educators, and the student health team. Teachers in the flex unit receive regular guidance from a special educator, and the teaching is adapted to each student's needs and conditions.

Job Responsibilities

As a mathematics teacher in the flex unit, you will be responsible for teaching students who need special support, either at selected times or in a more long-term manner. Teaching takes place in smaller groups or individually and is designed based on students' individual needs, prior knowledge, and abilities.

Your responsibilities include:

• planning, implementing, and following up on mathematics teaching based on governing documents and individual needs
• creating a safe, structured, and predictable learning environment
• working closely with special educators, special teachers, and other staff regarding students' development
• collaborating with mentors, work teams, and the student health team
• contributing to the school's joint development work regarding extra adaptations and special support

You will be part of a professional context with good conditions for collaboration, guidance, and collegial development.

Qualifications

The role requires:

• Teaching certification with qualifications in mathematics

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working in a flex unit, special education group, or similar operation
• Experience working with students in need of special support
• Special educational competence or further education
• Experience working with extra adaptations and individual support measures

Employment Conditions

Permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.
