Are you passionate about supporting adult learners to succeed in their studies – through structure, coaching, guidance, and accessible learning environments? Do you enjoy working both practically close to students and strategically with development work?

If so, you could be the study coach we are looking for at LärNav Dalarna, a comprehensive government-funded project that aims to strengthen the Falu learning center and contribute to the development of adult education throughout the region by 2026. The position may be extended if necessary funding is available.

About LärNav Dalarna and Falu Learning Center

The Falu Learning Center is a meeting place for students in municipal adult education – SFI, basic and upper secondary adult education, distance learning, and vocational adult education. Here, newcomers, unemployed individuals, career changers, and students with various mental and physical disabilities come together.

In the LärNav Dalarna project, we are developing:

• digital and physical learning environments
• AI-based study coaching and remote guidance
• language cafés, mentoring programs, and support groups
• “Livsnavet” – a forum for collaboration between social services, healthcare, schools, employers, and educational actors
• data-driven follow-up in a local learning platform
• a regional competence hub for matching with the labor market

All with the goal of increasing completion rates in studies, reducing dropouts, and strengthening community development.

Job Responsibilities

About the Role of Study Coach

As a study coach for LärNav Dalarna, you will play a central role in developing and providing support to adult learners. You will work both individually with students, in teams at the learning center, and in collaboration with external partners. The role of study coach includes close cooperation with coordinators and special educators within the framework of the project.

Your responsibilities include:

• developing support for students through coaching, guidance, planning, and structuring their studies
• establishing and being an active part of Livsnavet – collaboration with social services, healthcare, the social insurance agency, the employment agency, employers, and schools
• working with coordinators and the IT unit to develop and implement AI-based study coaching and remote guidance
• developing coaching setups, routines, structures, and methods, including mentoring programs, language cafés, and support groups.
• contributing to data-driven follow-up and development of learning environments

This is a role where you get to be close to students – while also participating in a larger regional development effort.

You are a confident and engaged person who is passionate about helping adult learners succeed. You are development-oriented and can build structure for the future after the project ends.

We see that you have:

• experience working with adult learners or participants in need of extra support
• experience in providing coaching, study support, or guidance
• experience collaborating with actors such as social services, employment agencies, healthcare, educational providers, or employers
• good digital competence and interest in working with AI support and digital learning environments
• strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing

Employment Conditions

• Project employment for 2026 (full-time)

• The position is funded through government grants linked to the LärNav Dalarna development project
