JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Malungsfors School is looking for a teacher for grades F-3.

At Malungsfors School, there are about 30 students and 5 staff members, and the school is organized in a B-form.

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach grades F-3 based on experience. You need to have basic qualifications and also qualifications in physical education and health as well as music. The job includes planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching and the students' learning. You take an active role and develop the operations together with the entire school's working team.

In our pedagogical framework, which includes everything from approach, accessibility, motivation, collaboration to a holistic view, the student is always at the center!

You maintain close cooperation with the guardians of the students and other important people in the students' network. You participate and drive pedagogical meetings together with both colleagues at the school and other partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference and who has a strong belief in the student's competence and is passionate about developing each student. You are positive and solution-focused. You find it easy to collaborate with students, colleagues, parents, and other professionals around the students. You have a strong motivation for learning and preferably knowledge of special education that motivates students to learn. You have a teaching license.

As a person, you are structured, unpretentious, and flexible. You have a clear and low-arousal approach. You have the ability to see students' different needs and strengths and to steer and follow up on operations based on the school's pedagogical goals, vision, and financial frameworks. You need to be able to think outside the box, be inventive, brave, and imaginative.

If you also have good knowledge in reading instruction and have worked with students with neuropsychiatric diagnoses, students in social difficulties, and have special education in your training, you may be the one we are looking for. But if you are newly graduated, you are of course also welcome to apply for the position.
