We are one of Falun's largest sports associations and offer our members high-quality activities from beginner swimming and swimming school to competitive swimming at an elite level – a club where you can be active for a lifetime!

Falu Swimming Society is looking for a Beginner Coordinator. Falu Swimming Society works to promote swimming skills, swimming sports, spread knowledge in lifesaving, and conduct wellness activities. The association has about 900 members and is Dalarna's largest swimming club. Today we have two employees and about 35 volunteer leaders within the various activities. We are now looking for a Beginner Coordinator who wants to help develop the operations further. The assignment includes leading our swimming school from swimming school to competitive swimming. Your experience and a clear leadership style are important, and you will work together with the Coaching Team

to create an inspiring atmosphere and drive a program aimed at achieving the club's long-term goals.

What does the role of Beginner Coordinator entail? As a Beginner Coordinator, you are responsible for the association's swimming school activities. You will:

• Develop and lead the swimming school activities with the aim of achieving the association's strategic goals

• Continue to develop the entire association's operations together with those responsible in the different areas

• Ensure that the activities are planned and implemented on a seasonal basis

• Have results and budget responsibility for the operations

• Have personnel responsibility for employees and volunteers within the swimming school

As a Beginner Coordinator, you report to the association's club leader. The position starts according to agreement, preferably in the spring of 2026. The position is 50%.

Who are you? We are looking for someone with experience working with swimming school activities in a leadership position. You are a positive, action-oriented, and results-driven person. As a leader, you are both inspiring and motivating and have the ability to see and develop each employee and volunteer leader.

What do you need to know?

• Extensive knowledge of Swedish swimming sports and swimming.

• Experience from swimming school activities

• Experience in leading with budget and results responsibility

• Experience in personnel responsibility.

• Good administrative skills
