Do you want a meaningful and fun job where you make a difference for children and young people every day? We are looking for someone who can step in as a substitute in preschool or after-school care at short notice.

As a substitute, you are an important part of the educational work and contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and playful learning environment. You will be responsible for a group of children, actively participate in their play and daily activities, and take part in educational activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute, you will enter the regular educational activities and take responsibility for a group of children. This means you are active in the children's play and create conditions for activity and stimulation in the operations. Sometimes you will lead an activity, and sometimes you will be a participating adult. You are expected to take responsibility for current tasks and have a good overview of the group of children.

Responsibilities include, among other things:

• Active participation in children's play and learning.
• Responsibility for safety and structure in the group of children.
• Educational meals.
• Outdoor activities and assistance with dressing and undressing.
• Adaptation to the needs and routines of the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is responsible, engaged, and has a genuine interest in working with children. You are easy to collaborate with, pedagogical, flexible, and take your own initiatives. You understand the importance of creating good relationships with both children and colleagues.

Requirements for the position:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You can get to the workplace at short notice.
• You are comfortable and physically able to be active in children's play both indoors and outdoors.
• You have suitable clothing for all weather.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish to communicate with children, guardians, and colleagues.
• You can present a valid extract from the criminal record (for work in schools/preschools).

It is an advantage if you are studying to become a preschool teacher, childcare worker, leisure educator, or have another educational background, or if you have previous experience working with children.
