Personal Assistant for a Happy 12-Year-Old

Do you want to work as a personal assistant and add a special touch to someone’s life? Vivida is now looking for a dedicated personal assistant for a cheerful, playful, and wonderful 12-year-old boy.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in his daily life.

About the Assignment

I am a 12-year-old boy with a lot of energy and humor looking for a personal assistant who wants to work closely with me in my daily life. I have a lung disease and autism and need support and assistance in various parts of life.

Your work will include:

• Supporting me in daily life, both at home, at school, and during activities
• Assisting with oxygen and partial tube feeding.
• Being a continuous support throughout the day, I cannot be left alone.

I do not have fully developed speech, so it is an advantage if you have experience with TAKK or AAC.

You will accompany me to school during the day and work at home after school hours. I live alternately with my mom and dad, one week at a time, and you will also join me in my leisure activities.

There is a dog in the family, which means you cannot be allergic or afraid of dogs.

Do You Recognize Yourself?

I am looking for someone with experience in personal assistance, working with children, and/or adapted schools. It is important that you can set clear but safe boundaries and help me maintain routines. At the same time, I hope you are playful and enjoy having fun together.

We Prefer That You:

• Have a calm, safe, and attentive demeanor
• Are creative, patient, and flexible
• Have good communication skills and can collaborate with both family and school
• Have experience with sign language support (advantageous)
• Have experience with low-arousal responses (advantageous)
• Have worked with children before
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have a B driver's license

WORKING HOURS AND EMPLOYMENT GRADES

Extra as needed with a chance for a permanent position.

YOUR SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base salary per hour + vacation pay and any additional compensation. Collective agreements are in place.
