Temporary Assistant Case Officer for LSS and Social Psychiatry

We are looking for a temporary assistant case officer for the area of LSS and social psychiatry who wants to contribute to good quality, legal security, and respectful treatment. Do you want to work with authority exercises that make a real difference in people's lives?

The position is a temporary contract that runs until 2026-12-31. Start date by agreement.

Your Responsibilities

You will work with processing and follow-up of interventions according to LSS and SoL (social psychiatry). Through a professional and legally secure investigation work, you contribute to creating conditions for individuals to live their lives on equal terms.

Your Profile

  • You are a qualified social worker or have another higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
  • Previous experience of authority exercises according to LSS and SoL (social psychiatry).
  • You have good knowledge of applicable legislation and case law.

You meet people with respect and attentiveness, wherever they are in life. You work in a structured and independent manner and have a good ability to express yourself clearly and professionally in writing. In the role, you make decisions that can be perceived as both difficult and crucial for the individual. It is therefore important that you are pedagogical, clear, and have the ability to explain decisions in an understandable way, even when the decision is not in the individual's favor.

Furthermore, you enjoy working closely with colleagues where you share experiences and complement each other's competencies. A driver's license (B) is a requirement.

About the Workplace

You will be part of IFO Adult, a workgroup consisting of social workers who work with violence in close relationships, financial assistance, and harmful use and dependence. Above all, you will work closely with a colleague with the same LSS/SoL focus. We place great emphasis on internal and external collaboration to provide the best possible support and help to our citizens.

The social sector is the largest of four sectors in Leksand municipality. The sector is responsible for the care of the elderly and people with disabilities, social psychiatry, health and medical care (HSR), individual and family care (IFO), open care, and authority exercises and consists of about 550 permanent employees and 200 temporary workers.
