About the position - a job that makes a difference every day

Working with us means stepping into a daily life where your professional courage and empathy truly make a difference. You will meet children, young people, and families in transition and become part of a context where we together create safety, development, and hope for the future. Co-handling and daily support are a natural part of our culture.
With us, you can develop in three different child groups, where every part of the work is important for our young residents of Borlänge:

* In the investigation group, you will work with investigations according to BBIC, supported by SoL and LVU, either after your own applications or incoming reports. Here you will use your entire investigative ability to create clarity in complex situations.
* In the placement group, you will follow children and young people living in foster homes or HVB and be responsible for ensuring that the placement environments are safe, stable, and developing.
* In the combo group, you will primarily work with following up open interventions according to SoL, where families and children have consented to support. There are also parts of investigative work, which makes the role both varied and relationship-oriented.

The Child and Family Unit (BFE) is part of the Social and Labor Market Administration and consists of six teams within children, youth, and family. Here you will meet colleagues who want you to succeed, supportive managers, and a daily life where we truly make a difference - together.

In the role, you will work with:

* Investigations of the needs of children and young people according to BBIC, SoL, and LVU
* Follow-ups of placements in foster homes or HVB
* Supporting families through open interventions
* Collaboration with schools, healthcare, networks, and other actors
* Contributing to sustainable solutions where every child is seen

We offer structured working methods, close leadership, and a safe introduction, all so that you can focus on being the secure and professional employee that children and families need.

Are you the one we are looking for?

You are a person who carries your work with both pride and security, and who meets every family with respect and openness. You are curious and thrive in an organization that is constantly evolving, where you are happy to contribute creativity and flexibility as needs change. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you enjoy working closely with others to achieve common goals. At the same time, you have the ability to work independently, effectively, and focused, even when the pace increases.
