Temporary IKT-Pedagogue at Dalarna University

The Student and Educational Support Department is part of the common operational support at Dalarna University. The department's mission includes providing support for higher education pedagogical development and the development of learning environments. We are now looking for an engaged IKT-pedagogue to strengthen our team while the regular IKT-pedagogue is on parental leave!

Your Workday as an IKT-Pedagogue

As an IKT-pedagogue, you will help provide user support in the digital systems (such as Canvas, Inspera, and Sunet survey) that we use for teaching at the university. You will be part of a group of several IKT-pedagogues who work together as a support and resource for teaching. Part of the time, you will be in support with direct contact via phone and online meetings, while the remaining time you will work on development projects and educational assignments towards our teachers.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university degree in pedagogy, IKT, computer science, systems science, or another relevant field
• the ability to communicate (spoken and written) well in both Swedish and English
• experience in supporting others in technology usage

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working with support and assistance
• experience working with digital tools in teaching
• experience in teaching or pedagogical development projects, preferably in higher education

The variation and breadth of tasks mean that you must be flexible and enjoy working on problem-solving. You will encounter colleagues, teachers, and students in various situations, which requires you to be service-oriented and have good collaboration skills. As a person, you are calm, patient, and systematic. Your ability to meet users based on their competence is crucial for this work.

Employment

The position is a temporary position, starting from 2026-04-01 (or by agreement) until 2027-03-31. Full-time position (100%). Dalarna University operates in two locations. The place of employment for this position is Borlänge, with some work also occurring in Falun. There are opportunities to establish remote work agreements.
