Domnarvet School is looking for a teacher for special education group

Domnarvet School is a comprehensive school F-9 with approximately 630 students. We work with a future-oriented focus on collaboration in work teams and subject teams. The team concept is fundamental, where one is part of a whole and stands together with colleagues for learning and development.

In the work team, there is a shared responsibility for the grade and the students in that grade. In the subject team, there is a collegial responsibility for the development of the quality of teaching together with other subject colleagues.

We have a flexible view of the schedule and conditions for students' learning and prioritize students' participation in their schoolwork with the student's own learning at the center. This means, among other things, that students are given the opportunity to, together with their mentor, plan for their own prioritized work and learning a couple of lessons a week.

We have close access to nature and wonderful environments that can be advantageously used in teaching. We also work with a common clear approach related to lesson structure, our Basic Position, which contributes to predictability and structure as well as safety and study peace.

The work environment is characterized by openness, warmth, and joy where relationships are fundamental, with students, colleagues, and management. We work together!

We have high qualifications and stable work and subject teams with many years of competence that constantly find new ways forward. Do you feel that you also want to be part of working together with innovative thinking and creativity? If so, this is the position for you!

With shared knowledge and experiences, we create context, continuity, and progression in students' development and learning.

Our values certainly attract you!

  • I am here for the people of Borlänge
  • I like challenges
  • I meet every person with openness
