Domnarvets School is a comprehensive school F-9 with approximately 630 students. We work with a future-oriented focus on collaboration in teams and subject groups. The team concept is fundamental, where everyone is part of a whole and stands together with colleagues for learning and development.

In the teaching team, there is a shared responsibility for the grade and the students in that grade. In the subject team, there is a collegial responsibility for the development of the quality of teaching together with other subject colleagues.

We have a flexible view of the schedule and conditions for students' learning and prioritize students' participation in their schoolwork with the student's own learning at the center. This means, among other things, that students are given the opportunity to, together with their mentor, plan for their own prioritized work and learning a couple of lessons a week.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for two teachers for grades 4-6, with qualifications in the core subjects of mathematics, Swedish, and English, as well as in the No or So subjects. Other subject combinations are also of interest. You will be part of a safe and stable teaching team where you share mentorship and responsibility for the grade with your colleagues. With us, you have mentorship responsibility for some students in the grade to share the responsibility together with colleagues for the entire grade.

Each week, you will meet with your colleagues in the teaching team during your working hours, focusing on the common collegial work, which provides good conditions for our development work and planning of teaching.

Your task is to help students meet the knowledge requirements based on the curriculum within clear frameworks. This also includes regular documentation, contact with home, and school development work.

In addition to your immediate colleagues, you will have support from special teachers, special educators, social pedagogues, career counselors, and a curator. You should always have colleagues and support functions close at hand.

One of the positions can be filled soon by agreement. The other position will start in conjunction with the autumn term beginning in August 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
Teacher education, grades 4-6, with qualifications in the core subjects of mathematics, Swedish, and English, as well as in the No or So subjects. Other subject combinations are also of interest.
Very good oral and written skills in Swedish.

Meritorious:
Good oral and written skills in English are meritorious. Special educational competence is also meritorious.

Personal qualities:
Important personal qualities include the ability to create good relationships, have good collaboration skills, be problem- and solution-focused, result-oriented and proactive, and have good communication skills.

In connection with the interview, you as a candidate need to show proof of citizenship in Sweden/EU/EES or a valid work residence permit.
