JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We in Hedemora municipality are looking for you who want to work as a substitute in school grades F-6/primary school/adapted school/after-school care for the autumn of 2025 and the upcoming school year.

We are looking for someone who can be ready to step in when we call at 7 in the morning for school start at 8. Sometimes we also need substitutes for planned staff absences, and then we have longer notice.

We have a common substitute list for:

• Stureskolan and Fyrklöverskolan in Hedemora
• Smedby and Jonsboskolan in Långshyttan
• Västerby and Vikmanshyttan

Welcome with your personal letter where you can describe the extent to which you are able to work, i.e., number of days/week and which weekdays.

QUALIFICATIONS

You may be a childcare worker, leisure educator, or teacher, but it is not a requirement.

We are particularly interested in those studying to become teachers, preschool teachers, or leisure educators.

You should have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

We prefer that you are a reliable person who can communicate clearly with both students and other staff.

You are organized and learn the school's daily routines quickly.

A driver's license is an advantage but not a requirement.

A criminal record extract is required for employment within schools and childcare.
