Here you will work alongside a dedicated team of educators focused on children's development and learning.

Örnen Preschool is located in Bjursås and has five departments, two for children aged 1–3 years and three for children aged 3–5 years. We work systematically based on the quality assurance system of Falu municipality and have five joint study days per year. These days are dedicated to planning, following up, evaluating, and developing education in a systematic and continuous manner to increase goal fulfillment.

We have access to guidance from a special educator in our work and are part of Together for Every Child, a collaboration between Falu municipality and Region Dalarna aimed at coordinating early interventions for the child's best interest.

Job Responsibilities

Together with colleagues in the work team, you as a preschool teacher will have the main responsibility for education and teaching in the preschool. Education should be based on a holistic view of children and their needs, where care, development, and learning form a cohesive whole. You should follow the norms and values outlined in the preschool curriculum and contribute to fulfilling the assignment according to goals and guidelines. You should also provide each child with safe care and promote all children's development and learning.

Qualifications

The role requires:

• You are a licensed preschool teacher or teacher for younger ages.

Personal Qualities

You have the ability to drive development through clear leadership and work systematically, while also being flexible and seeing opportunities. You are a warm and secure adult who creates good relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. You have a very good ability to design learning environments where children are stimulated and challenged to acquire new skills, experiences, and knowledge. You take pedagogical responsibility for teaching and handle conflicts in a responsive and constructive manner.

• Experience in pedagogical documentation as support for reflection with colleagues and children
• Experience and knowledge in TAKK
• Interest and experience in creating inspiring learning environments

Employment Conditions

The recruitment pertains to a permanent full-time position, with start date according to agreement.
