Vikarbyn School is beautifully situated in the village with a view over Siljan and close to outdoor activities in forests and fields.

Currently, about 150 students attend the school from Preschool to grade 6. The school has a mixed staff group with experienced teachers who work closely together. In the principal area, which also includes Sätra and Söderås schools, we regularly engage in collegial development work.

Job Description

During the spring term of 2026, we will need a substitute teaching assistant for Vikarbyn School. The role of the teaching assistant involves supporting and relieving teachers with tasks such as supervising breaks, administrative tasks, and assisting in teaching.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is flexible, independent, and has good collaboration skills. You should be able to easily build relationships with colleagues and students. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You should have previous experience working in a school and have a service-oriented approach.

At a potential interview, a criminal record extract from the police, according to the Education Act, must be presented.
