JOB DESCRIPTION

At Ungärde School, we need more skilled substitutes for our operations. Ungärde School currently has about 215 students and is located in Lima, 30 km south of the Sälen Mountains. Here you will find educational activities for grades F-9, adapted primary school, and leisure activities. The school is beautifully situated by the river, and we also have a preschool in the same area.

If you are a qualified teacher, curious about pedagogical work, or want to work extra alongside your studies, then this is an opportunity for you! We are looking for more engaged and flexible employees who can step in as substitutes at short notice when our regular staff is not present. Your contribution will be invaluable to our operations and will help create a safe and inspiring environment for our students.

As a substitute with us, you can work in the following areas:

• Primary School

  The school should provide children and students with knowledge for life, and all students should have the best possible conditions to achieve the school's knowledge goals. In the school, you will work either as a teacher substitute or as a resource.

• Leisure Center

  All children aged 6 to 12 are offered a place to attend the leisure center before and after the school day. The leisure centers complement the school and should stimulate the student's development and learning, promote diverse contacts and social community, but also offer rest, play, movement, and creative work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have education or experience from working with children and youth, but it is not a requirement. You must be at least 18 years old to be considered for the position.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as good collaboration skills, responsibility, and an empathetic approach. In the role of a substitute, it is important that you are flexible and curious. It is important that you are attentive to children/students, parents, and colleagues. You will be offered a meaningful and rewarding job, and your contribution is important to us!

To work in schools and childcare, a valid extract from the criminal record is required. This is issued by the police, and you can apply for it on the police's website.
