In Ludvika, children and youth are important! We demonstrate this by making children and youth the center of the municipal organization. Most resources directed towards children and youth have been gathered under one committee. This includes preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, and also individual and family care. The Workplace

Förskolan Bäret opened in 2019 and belongs to the Lorensberga school area. The preschool is located in an area with both villas and apartment buildings, and we are close to both forests, playgrounds, and within walking distance to both Hitachi and the center. The preschool consists of five departments with space for 75 children aged 1-5 years. Meals are prepared in our state-of-the-art kitchen at the preschool. Bäret is a preschool in a multicultural area, and we work diligently on children's language development to strengthen them in social interaction and emotional management. There is a great competence at the preschool in working with clarifying pedagogy and strengthening children in their abilities. Our prioritized areas are language development work and values. For us, it is important to create an education where children feel joy, happiness, and trust in their own abilities. We strive for children to succeed in all their abilities but also to develop in communicating thoughts, feelings, and opinions, as this is an important part of their social development. This occurs in collegial exchanges of thoughts and experiences at regular meetings, both with our own work team and with other preschool teachers and childcare workers in the preschool area.

In this work, you will be an important player in the shared responsibility to plan, implement, document, and follow up on the activities based on applicable governing documents.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, you will work pedagogically with children aged 1-5 years, and important tasks include:

• creating and developing trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians.
• creating and developing an environment that is based on children's needs and interests and that stimulates play, interaction, development, and learning.
• working so that everyday activities and routine situations in a playful and caring way become part of the teaching.
• being responsible for systematically planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing education together with your colleagues based on the preschool's governing documents.

Qualifications

• You have a preschool teacher education with teaching certification.
• Great importance is placed on personal qualities.
