About the Gruvriset Preschool Area

The Gruvriset preschool area consists of the preschools Främbyhus, Zinkstigen, Guldstigen, Tingsvägen, and Aspelunden. Together, we form a preschool area characterized by cooperation, community, and a clear educational mission.

We work together to create an equitable education of high quality, where both children and adults have the opportunity to grow. Collegial learning, shared structures, and systematic quality work are important parts of our organization.

In the Gruvriset preschool area, the outdoor environment and local surroundings are a natural part of education. We see play, movement, creativity, and exploration as important parts of children's learning and use both indoor and outdoor environments as pedagogical tools.

We work with a supportive approach where safe relationships, participation, and empathy are fundamental in everyday life.

In our operations, we have a particular focus on reading aloud and language development methods as well as mathematics. Continuing education within the National Agency for Education's Mathematics Lift is ongoing and is part of our joint development work.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool assistant with us, you are an important part of the team. Together, you are responsible for ensuring that the children have a safe, stimulating, and meaningful day at preschool.

Your responsibilities include:

• Participating in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of the educational activities
• Supporting children's development and learning based on their needs, interests, and conditions
• Working with clarifying pedagogy to create structure and accessibility for all children
• Being active and present in children's play and daily life
• Contributing to creating accessible, inspiring, and safe learning environments, both indoors and outdoors
• Building good relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians
• Participating in the team's joint reflection and development work

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

• Education as a preschool assistant or other relevant education/experience working with preschool-aged children
• Good knowledge of clarifying pedagogy
• Good IT skills and experience using digital tools in operations
• Good ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish

Desirable Qualifications

• Knowledge of language development methods
• Good experience working with reading aloud as a pedagogical tool
• Interest in mathematics in preschool
• Experience with supportive approaches, ICDP, or TAKK
• Experience working on the development of pedagogical learning environments

Employment Conditions

Permanent full-time employment, with start date according to agreement.
