What does the organization look like?

The Child and Family Section in the municipality of Falun consists of several units: reception, children and youth 1 and 2, resource and family law, open care Dialogen, as well as our own HVB BUBO and our own support housing, UBO. You will belong to one of our workgroups within children and youth 1 or 2, with 8–10 colleagues and an accessible group leader.

Job Responsibilities

As a social worker with us, you will meet children, young people, and families who need support in life – and you will be part of making a real difference. Your mission is to make qualified assessments according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), with the goal of creating safety and stability for children and young people.

  • Conduct investigations
  • Follow up and implement decided interventions
  • Collaborate with colleagues, group leaders, and other actors

Some cases you will handle independently, but most decisions are made together in the group – we believe in the strength of collaboration and shared responsibility. Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

  • Degree in Social Work
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is communicative, empathetic, and solution-focused in their approach. You have the ability to create trust through a responsive and present demeanor, both in meetings with children and families and in collaboration with colleagues and other actors. As a person, we see that you are independent but also enjoy working in a team where collaboration and shared responsibility are a natural part of everyday life. You have a good ability to structure your work and make well-founded decisions, even in complex situations.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Meritorious Qualifications

  • Training in BBIC and/or Signs of Safety
  • Driver's license (B)
  • Multilingualism
  • Experience in authority work with children and youth

Employment Conditions

The recruitment concerns permanent full-time positions with a start date according to agreement.
