The Workplace

The individual and family care is part of the Social and Education Administration in Ludvika Municipality. We are about 100 employees organized into five units: the Investigation Unit, Support and Supply Unit, Foster Care and Family Law Unit, Open Care Unit, and Ami. The Investigation Unit consists of four functional groups and is led by a unit manager together with two senior social workers. We work in teams, often in pairs on cases, and value close supervision, reflection time, and a good working environment.

In the harmful use and dependency area, we have accessible open care that can meet the need for interventions at home. The open care is closely connected to the social office.

Job Responsibilities

As a social worker in the harmful use and dependency team, you will meet adults with dependencies on alcohol, drugs, and gambling.

You will, among other things:

• Investigate applications according to SoL
• Follow up on decided interventions
• Prepare cases with the support of LVM

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in social work
• Or another equivalent university education where social law is a requirement for the position.

Meritorious

• Experience in investigating and processing adults according to SoL and LVM.
• Training in ASI.
