Description

We within the Individual and Family Services are looking for you who are a social worker and want to become our colleague in the Children and Youth group.

The Children and Youth group consists of five social workers, a family home secretary, and a senior social worker who provides support in daily work. The social workers in the group collaborate closely and assist each other in daily tasks.

Orsa Municipality's Individual and Family Services, in addition to the Children and Youth group, consists of an adult group, resource group, and budget and debt advisors. We have a close collaboration between the different functions and work together to provide those in need of support from social services with the best conditions.

Job Responsibilities

As a social worker in the Children and Youth group, you will work with children and young people who, for various reasons, need support from social services. You will conduct investigations according to SoL and LVU and follow up on open interventions, family homes, and HVB placements. We work according to BBIC in close collaboration with the child, parents, and other parties.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, as this is a requirement for authority work concerning children and youth. You should have several years of experience working within individual and family services with a focus on children and youth.

We see you as a secure and stable colleague; you work solution-focused but are also attentive and clear in your communication. You are good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work while being flexible and able to see opportunities in changes. It is important for us that you have a good ability to work both in a team and independently. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked in ProCapita/LifeCare and have experience in handling cases according to BBIC.

Social Services Sector

The social services sector includes elderly care with special housing and home care, special care for people with disabilities, individual and family services (IFO), labor market unit (AME), and the food unit.

Individual and family services work with support and advice for children, young people, and their families, individuals with dependency issues, financial assistance, and certain interventions for people with mental disabilities.
