The Workplace
Kraftaverk is located in Gagnef and currently has 22 places for men aged 21-65 years.
We receive men with addiction issues, possibly with concurrent psychosocial and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. All our care is evidence-based, and we follow national guidelines from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding treatment. The core of the treatment is CBT, which is provided both in group therapy and through individual treatment. Kraftaverk is beautifully situated in Gagnef church village near the Österdal River.

The Position
We are looking for an additional team member who is a trained treatment educator. A person who is committed to making a positive difference in our clients' lives and thrives in a developing and dynamic work environment.
Job Responsibilities
As treatment staff at Kraftaverk, you will work together with other employees to provide clients with a safe, stable, and meaningful stay. The tasks are varied and include supportive conversations, various treatment interventions, care, medication management, documentation, activities, and other practical tasks. We work with an individualized treatment where structure and clarity are central parts. The treatment staff play an important role in creating a stable and sustainable care plan for the client, together with other professionals.
- Education
At least 2 years of post-secondary education such as treatment educator, social educator, alcohol and drug therapist, or other relevant education that the employer finds suitable for the advertised position. Training in Relapse Prevention, CRA, HAP, MI, MET, ACT, ART, KSL, or similar is advantageous.
You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good IT skills. Additionally, good administrative ability and interest in documentation are required as it is part of the job responsibilities.
- Experience
Work experience from similar jobs with documented references.
You should be structured, have a strong interest in working with people in our target group, and also possess the ability to lead and structure the treatment work. A plus is the ability to schedule.
- Personal Qualities
As a person, you need to be able to plan, be solution-focused, and have a humanistic perspective where no case is a failed case; we actively work for successful placements where the focus is on positive reinforcers. You need to be organized, have experience in leading others, be curious, stress-resistant, attentive, and have a therapeutic mindset in all situations. You need to be flexible as it is a changing operation.
Based on the role where you are the company's face to the outside world, we require high social competence, a professional demeanor, and the ability to see the big picture. Additionally, you are positive and contribute to a good atmosphere at work and our work environment. We recruit carefully and place great emphasis on personal suitability.
A background check from the Police's suspicion and criminal record and a credit report will be conducted upon potential employment. Since Kraftaverk has a framework agreement with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, you must have a clean criminal record for the past 5 years.
