We at the Child and Youth Unit are looking for a foster care secretary to join our team. You will be a key person in the work of providing children and young people with safe, stable, and loving homes.

As a foster care secretary with us, you will work with foster homes and contact families, where your main tasks will be to recruit, investigate, and guide. You will handle contracts and compensation, provide support to all contractors, participate in follow-ups of approved interventions, and provide training to the foster homes.

Your work includes assessing the suitability and abilities of families, and you will participate in matching the choice of foster homes and other interventions. You will receive close support from management and collaborate closely with child caseworkers. The position includes travel, and some evening work may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and a genuine interest in working with children, youth, and families. Previous experience working with foster care is an advantage, as well as training in "A Home to Grow In" and in supervising foster homes.

As a person, we see that you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. You view relationships in their proper perspective and have a good ability to distinguish between the personal and the professional. In your work, you are relationship-building. You need to have good collaborative skills and enjoy working with your own team, as well as with other organizations and authorities.

In the role of foster care secretary, it is also important that you are flexible, can easily adapt to changing circumstances, and can adjust your working methods according to the needs and goals of the organization. At the same time, you are self-driven and have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.

Since the work involves a lot of communication and documentation, it is a requirement that you can express yourself well in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing. In this recruitment, we place great importance on your personal qualities.

Requirements:

Degree in social work
Driver's license B
