Personal Assistant Wanted

Hello!

We are looking for someone to work as a personal assistant for me, a 21-year-old with multiple disabilities/wheelchair user. Your workplace will be where I reside, which is mostly at home with my parents and two cats. Travel may also occur to habilitation, hospitals, and during vacations.

Your duties include helping me with everything in daily life such as: hygiene and assistance with dressing/undressing. Help during meals/feeding, including some feeding through a tube. Mobility assistance with and sometimes without a lift. Training and stretching programs. Assistance with communication as I lack verbal speech and have visual impairment, as well as engagement in activities inside and outside the home.

You should have fairly good physical condition as there may be some heavy lifting and also enjoy being outdoors since daily walks are part of the job.

Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement for the job as I need help with communication and documentation is also part of the job.

You should not be allergic to pets as there is a cat in the home. Experience in the assistant profession is an advantage, but the greatest emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Working hours: Day, evening, weekend, and awake night.

Employment conditions: As long as the assignment lasts (SLUV) at approximately 72.5% 29h/week

Start date: As agreed with the possibility of hourly employment and training beforehand.

Criminal Record

To work as a personal assistant with us, you must provide an extract from the police's criminal record - extract (442.3). It is important to keep in mind that the police's processing time can be up to two weeks, so order your record extract as soon as possible. The extract will be requested at a potential interview.
