We are looking for a support assistant for a longer temporary position at Jungfruvägen 127 group home. We seek someone with relevant education, good knowledge, and experience in LSS operations (LSS - Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). Job Responsibilities

Working as a support assistant gives you the opportunity to make a difference in other people's lives. The job includes motivating, supporting, and helping individuals in all everyday situations both at home and outside. This means facilitating daily life for the individual and providing support in social contexts. We work based on a clarifying pedagogy by maintaining structure according to the implementation plan created in collaboration with the individual. The working method is characterized by the building blocks of LSS: participation, self-determination, and independence, with the right to live a life similar to everyone else.

In our work, we always start from the individual and what they wish for the day, the week, or generally in life, which then forms the basis for our collective approach towards that specific individual.

In the role of support assistant, you will have a varied job that includes close collaboration with municipal health and medical staff, psychiatry, relatives, and representatives. You will have the opportunity to develop our operations and activities based on our active work with implementation plans where our efforts are directed towards the individual through goals that are continuously followed up in collaboration with other professionals.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• You have completed a nursing program with a focus on disabilities, treatment assistant, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent
• Documented experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities within LSS/Psychiatry/Social Services
• Good ability to work with documentation, implementation plans, and experience using a computer as a working tool
• Knowledge and/or experience working with challenging behavior
• Good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written
• Familiarity with various data systems
• Experience and training in low-arousal approaches

You are independent, take responsibility for your work, and can meet the individual's needs through a balance of structure and flexibility. You have the ability to adapt your working method to the situation and thrive when many different things are happening at the same time. You have good collaboration skills, are eager to develop, and are creative in finding new ways to increase the client's participation, independence, and communication.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Education or in-depth experience with various diagnoses and disabilities within LSS/Social Services and/or psychiatry
• Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy
• Knowledge of or experience with motivational interviewing (MI)
• Education and/or experience working with self-harm behavior

Employment Conditions

Fixed-term employment starting 260323 and ending 260830.

The work involves shifts during the day and evening, weekend shifts, awake night shifts, and revised on-call duties.

The basic schedule is divided into 6-week periods, and the organization applies full-time for all.
