JeWe Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is part of Indomi, which operates several businesses within the healthcare sector. The group has many years of experience in psychiatric and health care, foster care, HVB homes, and housing support.
JeWe Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is located in Borlänge with a branch in Orsa and operates on behalf of Region Dalarna. We receive children and adolescents for assessment, treatment, and investigation in specialist psychiatric outpatient care, with the guiding principle “With a heart for children – focusing on quality and individual-centered care.”
We are now looking for another social worker to join our team in Borlänge who wants to continue developing and shaping the clinic's work forward with us.
About the Role - Main Responsibilities:
Psychosocial assessments: Conduct new assessments and in-depth evaluations with initial mapping focusing on psychosocial issues.
Supportive conversations: Hold individual conversations with children/adolescents and family discussions. Sometimes also in group format.
Group therapy: Lead group interventions for children, adolescents, and parents.
Coordination: Participate in SIP meetings (Coordinated Individual Plan) and collaborate with schools, social services, health centers, and other external actors.
Network work: Coordinate efforts around the child in close contact with guardians and networks. Contribute knowledge about other societal support measures.
Documentation: Responsible for accurate record-keeping according to health and medical care laws.
Development work: Contribute to health-promoting and preventive measures from a psychosocial perspective. Contribute to organizational development and the implementation of new treatment methods.
About You
We are looking for someone who is a healthcare social worker or has a degree in social work. Experience working with children and adolescents and having basic training in psychotherapy - step 1 is an advantage.
You are a person who values the important work with children's and adolescents' mental health and wants to contribute to a prominent and accessible child and adolescent psychiatry. You always put the patient first and are responsible and motivated in your work.
As a person, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and value interdisciplinary collaboration. To thrive with us, it is important that you take responsibility for your tasks and can plan and prioritize your work effectively. Personal suitability is highly valued.
