We are now looking for dedicated personal assistants for summer positions with a chance for extension. The assignment involves providing support to a man in his 30s living between Falun and Borlänge.

About the assignment and the client's needs

The client lives with extensive physical disabilities and requires assistance with all aspects of his daily life. The work requires precision and technical skills as it involves handling medical equipment and assistance with communication.

The tasks include:

• Handling PEG, tracheostomy, cough machine, and oxygen machine.

• Support with communication

• Personal care and hygiene.

• Transfers and mobility (the client uses a power wheelchair).

• Accompanying and facilitating activities outside the home.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and values structure and routines. To thrive in this role, you should be active and have the ability to create a meaningful daily life based on the client's circumstances.

Requirements for the position:

• Experience: Previous work as a personal assistant or other experience in care and support that is deemed equivalent.

• Language: Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to ensure safe communication and documentation.

• Driver's license: A valid B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are necessary to reach the workplace.

• Lifestyle: You are smoke-free.

Working hours and scope

The positions involve fixed schedule shifts as hourly substitutes during the summer, with good chances for extension.

• Shifts: Day (09:00–21:00), awake night (21:00–09:00).

• Flexibility: You are expected to be able to work all shifts available on the schedule.

Due to the nature of the job, which may involve solo work, night shifts, and tasks that according to the Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant with us.

If you wish to work with children and young people under 18, you need to present an extract from the criminal record. It is important that the extracts are ordered in good time, as the Police's processing time may vary. Due to a legal change from March 1, 2026, the background check will be expanded to include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register.
